How to monetize traffic, land enterprise clients and scale faster?
Three founders. Three problems. Here's exactly how I broke them down.

Starting a business and creating a social page or website is easy.
The real work starts when you try to grow it.
A few weeks ago I got on a call with some interesting business owners part of a free bi-weekly session I run inside the Vibe Marketer’s community where founders, agency owners and marketers from across the globe bring their real growth problems and we solve them together with AI in real time.
Each session we pick 2 to 3 real businesses from the attendees and dig in live. This one had three that caught my attention. All from completely different industries and stages.
a. Jiu-jitsu directory with 6,000 visitors and zero revenue.
b. Fintech platform that turns a 3-month process into 5 seconds trying to solve enterprise sales
c. AI agency with its first client, real results and needed some direction on how to get the next ten.
Here’s how we broke each one down.
#1 Jiu-jitsu directory with 6,000 visitors and zero revenue
Gabriel built a jiu-jitsu directory. 6,000 visitors a month. Every gym, every location, every keyword in the sport. Built it himself without a team or agency.
The traffic was real. The asset was real.
He just had no idea what it was worth.
That's the most common mistake I see with niche directories. People obsess over the traffic number and forget that traffic is just people with intent. And, people with intent are worth a lot to the right buyer.
Here's how I'd think about monetizing this:
a. Forget AdSense. Think sponsorships.
b. Go city by city. Find the top gym in San Diego. Tell them you're getting 1,000 visitors in their area every month and you have one hero spot available. That's worth $200-300 a month to a gym owner who wants new members walking in.
c. The gear money is sitting there untouched. Gi, finger tape, defense soap, rash guards. Every piece of equipment has a brand behind it. Gear guides, best of lists, honest reviews with affiliate links. Readers are already looking for recommendations. You're just not giving them yet.
d. Build the quiz. Find the right jiu-jitsu gym for me. 7 questions. Location, experience, training style. The gym that paid for the featured spot gets recommended at the top. Thumbtack figured this out. You can too.
e. The bigger play. You have the audience. That's the hardest part of any business. Study Hormozi's gym launch model. He built $100M helping gyms get and keep members. You already have what he had to build from scratch.
Gabriel had already done the hard part. He just needed to see what he had.
I have used this exact logic for a diesel mechanic business.
#2 Fintech platform that turns a 3-month process into 5 seconds trying to solve enterprise sales
Brett built something genuinely impressive. A platform that takes mortgage debt transfers a process that normally takes 3 months of emails, spreadsheets, lawyers, and back and forth and compresses it to 5 seconds with AI.
He's been in the retail space for over 10 years. 20,000+ users. The product works. Now he wants enterprise. $20M to $50M trades. And nobody's picking up the phone.
Here's what I suggested:
a. Cold email doesn't work because everyone is doing it. Your ICP has seen every variation of "I'd love to connect" there is. Their inbox is a graveyard of people trying to sell them things.
b. You don't break into enterprise by showing up in their inbox.You break in by showing up everywhere else first. Make them feel like you're already famous.
c. Scrape your Dream 100 from LinkedIn. Load that list into YouTube and Facebook as a custom audience. Film demo videos. Case study walkthroughs.
d. The story of what you built. Run it as retargeting. By the time you reach out they already know your name. Cody Schneider calls this digital gravity. It works.
e. Go old school on purpose. Brett's ICP is 50 years old. They grew up before email. Send them something physical. A book you built with AI. A hand-typed letter in a lumpy
envelope they have to sign for. Sam Ovens built a $20M consulting business on lumpy mail. Your competitors are not doing this. That's why you should.
f. Stop pitching the product. Start documenting the problem. Make a video about how broken this industry is. Emails. Spreadsheets. 3-month transfers. Everyone in the space knows it. Nobody is saying it out loud. Be the person who says it. Build the audience first. Then show them the 5-second solution.
Brett had the rarest thing in B2B. A product that makes an impossible problem disappear.
He just needed people to know it existed before he asked for the meeting.
#3 AI agency with its first client, real results and needed some direction on how to get the next ten
Anthony is an engineer turned AI consultant. A few weeks ago he landed his first client. A screen printing business owned by a friend. Built them a full website, set up lead capture, Google Analytics, Search Console, the works.
30 leads in 3 weeks. 10% conversion rate.
For context, most agencies spend months trying to get results like that for a first client. But Anthony wasn't celebrating. He was asking what do I do next?
Here's what most people miss when they land their first client.
a. The case study is the product. You don't need 10 clients to start an agency. You need one result documented so well that the next client feels stupid saying no.
b. Anthony already had the result. He just hadn't packaged it yet. Build the case study before you do anything else. Open Claude Code. Use the front-end design skill. Build a beautiful one-pager. 30 leads in 3 weeks. 10% conversion. Here's the system behind it.
That's your sales tool for every conversation going forward.
c. The niche is the shortcut. Screen printing. Custom apparel. Embroidery. This is a massive industry running almost entirely on word of mouth and old-school agencies that
have no idea what AI can do. Anthony can walk into any screen printer in the country and be the most sophisticated marketing person they've ever
talked to. That's not a small thing.
d. Film a Loom. Send it cold. Walk through what you built. Show the traffic. Show the leads. Show the system. Send it to 20 screen printers this week. You don't need a
polished pitch deck. You need proof that it works and a face behind it.
e. Boring businesses are the opportunity. Everyone is chasing SaaS and tech startups. Meanwhile screen printers, mechanics, plumbers, contractors they have real budgets, real problems, and nobody helping them. Anthony stumbled into a goldmine. The move is to go deeper before going wider.
Anthony had already done the hardest thing — gotten a result for a real client in a real business.
Most people spend years trying to get to where he already was.
